Sap Crystal Reports Runtime Engine For Net Framework
Posted : admin On 1/26/2022With the increasing number of versions of Crystal Reports and Visual Studio .NET, there is some confusion on which Crystal Reports runtime needs to be distributed with which version ofVisual Studio .NET (VS .NET). In this article, I want to clarify what MSM or MSI files belong to which version of Crystal Reports and which of these will work on VS .NET 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2008. I have also added supported Operating System field as well as supported framework for each version of Crystal Reports. As each version of Crystal Reports has its' own specific runtime which must be correctly deployed, it is critical that the deployed runtime be in agreement with the Crystal Reports assemblies for Visual Studio .NET referenced in your project. Also, note that the CR.NET component relies on COM Interop for the backend report processing engine. It is therefore imperative that all runtime deployments are done by use of the MSM or MSI files. XCopy deployments are not supported, nor will they work.The following matrix is a summary of runtime information for Crystal Reports from Version 9.1 for VS .NET 2002 to version 2008.

In our application we use Crystal Reports and we need the Crystal Report runtime engine for.NET that the reports can be printed and exported (e.g. My Question: - Is Windows 10 fully supported by the runtime engine? - And which version of the runtime engine do we need so that the runtime engine works without any problems? . Customers of an earlier version of SAP Crystal Reports are eligible to purchase a license of SAP Crystal Reports 2020 at an upgrade discount. How to Install Crystal Report runtime
First of all, login in to your PC as Administrator and follow the below instructions.
Choose the same version of crystal report runtime as of Crystal report for visual Studio and if your operating system is 32 bit or 64 bit, choose the version accordingly.
Download the zip file of Crystal Reports Runtime from the above given links and unzip and double click on .msi file
Go to next
Accept the licence agreement and go to next
In case, your system have older version of Crystal report runtime, the installer will ask you whether to upgrade the version. Click next to confirm or cancel to cancel.
